How can I fix my diplomat dishwasher?

My integrated diplomat dishwasher ADP 8252 (came with the house) never stops washing. Have cleaned the filters etc etc. Tried running a rinse cylce and it went on for 3 hours. Needless to say, I don't use it but wonder if it could be fixed before buying a replacement.
