change the VAT rate?

1) Turn the key to the PGM position.
2) Enter the desired tax rate as a percent with the decimal point and three decimal digits. Ex. 6% would be entered as 6.000, 8.5% as 8.500, etc.
3) Enter a 0 for add-on tax, a 1 for VAT tax.
4) Enter a 0.
5) Enter the tax rate number you wish to set. i.e. a 1 for tax rate 1, a 2 for tax rate 2, etc. At this point, you should have the tax rate followed by three additional digits on the display. Ex. For an add-on tax rate 1 of 8.5% you should have 8.500001 on the display. For a VAT tax rate 1 of 11%, you should have 11.000101 on the display.
6) Press the TAX SHIFT key. Press the CASH/TEND key.
