How to change door catch on Zanussi WDT 1072 washer dryer?
It appears that the door catch on my Zanussi WDT 1072 washer dryer needs changing. During the spin, power is intermittent.Sometimes when I press the door power comes back on but during fast spin it will go off again for a while. Eventually the cycle will finish on its own but it cannot be doing the machine any good can it? How is the catch changed?
its the door interlock that needs replacing.UNPLUG FROM MAINS.take the plastic clip off from around front edge of door seal.pull door seal away from front cabinet edge on the lock side only.put your hand behind to hold the door lock and hold it whilst you remove the 2 screws that hold it to the cabinet front.once loose pull the lock out so you can see it.remove wiring and remove hose from the bottom of the door lock.replace with new one in reverse.
