How to stop dishwasher from leaking?

Ensure that the unit is properly levelled and that there are no cracks in the lower spray arm (causes water to spray over lip of dishwasher), next check and make sure that the cabinet is not warped (caused when dishwasher is forced to fit in an tight space, make sure that the seal and knife edge (door side that comes in contact with seal) are free of food particles, you can also do a chalk test to test the integrity of your seal. good luck.
