my dryer is getting hot but is taking a good 2 to 3 hours to dry?
My dryer is getting hot and spinning but it took it a good 2 to 3 hours to dry a load. What should I do? It is a Whirlpool Estate and is only about 2 yrs old.
If it's heating up then the problem is probably that the air is not circulation properly. Check filter is clean. If it a condenser dryer, remove the condenser, which should be on the front probably near the bottom - will look like a drawer and inside it will be made up of lots of metal plates, and flush through with water until clean.
