glow plug light out vectra wont start?

Hi, glow plug light has not come on for some time now. Car not starting in the morning without a push, once started it is fine for the rest of the day. When left overnight same problem. Went to a garage for some advice and was told to change the leak off pipes on the injectors, done this and will have to wait overnight to see if has cured problem. On my 1.4TDCi Fiesta the glow plug light does not come on unless the temp is well below freezing.
