Mend Zanussi Only Light Working

Zanussi WJS 1265 W - only power light working?

Any ideas?

Our Zanussi Jetstream Turbodry 1200 initially displayed error code E50 and we seemed to manage to fix it.
But now when turning it on, only the On/Off light goes on, the rest of the display does not light up. The door lock light is on too. But nothing happens.

Is this a PCB issue?

Sometimes after 30 seconds or so, the display will flicker into life and flash E90, but it doesnt last long enough to let you get into diagnostics. Does that sound like the PCB has gone? Possibility that water may have got in (by mistake!) while sorting out motor. Could this cause it?

E50 was a motor fault code.Boards don't normally fail without something attached to them causing the problem on the pcb.Be careful before spending money on a new pcb as if you connect it up to a faulty part it will blow the new one!
