Mend Hoover BWM129 Washing Machine Repair Leak

Hoover BWM129 leak from powder drawer - can it be fixed?

Our 2-3 year old Hoover BWM129 almost always leaks water from the powder drawer, and the problem is getting worse. There doesn't seem to be a rubber seal on the powder drawer to prevent this. Can I do anything to fix this?
