I have a peugeot 307sw diesel. Problems to start engine at the first kick. takes some times have to keep the key in start position for some time. could it be problem with the engine heater
keeping the key in the start position, try waiting for a further 10 seconds or until you hear a 'click' AFTER the orange light has gone off, then try starting the engine, if this still doesn't work then do as wickham says.
