This may sound a weird question but how do you undo the spring clamp things around the drain hose and the filter.

filter hidden in side the large black hose that connects to the bottom of the outer drum
NOTE
you MUST dump any excess water in the drum out first by putting the drain hose into a bowl and then lowering it down to the floor ,an old towel will still be needed under the filter before undoing the clamp.
