how can i fix my starter?

i have a strip light, the socket where the starter inserts into to keep light on has 2 little metal pieces that the starter clips into, 1 of the metal pieces has broke off so the starter can not make a connection so no light on. how can i fix this, and is it easy to do.

you can buy a new starter connector from most electrical wholesalers,just make sure that you turn power off before starting the repair
