there is large flexible pipe from soap dispenser to the drum, when there is a certain weight in your M/C it will open the split to allow water to escape. take the pipe off and check. While you are at it, check the drum to pump pipe as well. maybe cost of each pipe circa ÂŁ5/ÂŁ6 better than cost of new m/c.
