Mend Ariston Microgenus 2 Combi Boiler Circuit Board Fault

is this a common fault, ariston microgenus 2, pcb flame rectification probl?

flame rectification fault on ariston microgenus 2 combi gas boilers, approx 2 yrs old, requiring new p.c.b. ie, presence of flame not recognised, continues to spark, and locks out, requiring replacing of circuit board. ariston technical say its not a known fault, but this is my fourth such instance and i have two further boilers doing the same thing. tried drying out the pcb, checked earthing ok, electrodes clean / ok.
