Hotpoint Aquarius CTD00?

My Hotpoint aquarius works OK (apart from being loud!) except for when I put in white T-Shirts. They always come out with little 1cm black 'V shaped tugs' all over them. It's like the Tshirt is being sucked into something or being snagged on something oily!
Any ideas??
