my hotpoint fdw20 dishwasher door catch has decided not to close. It can be forced shut, but then the catch does not lock. Any answers much appreciated.
I have had the same problem, I took my door lock out and found the spring that holds the latch in the closed position had disappeared???. Bought a new door lock for about £15 at hotpointservice.co.uk. Hope this helps

lack of servicing,try wd 40 in lock,not too much,if this fails then the lock will need replaced
