my tdc 30 wont stay switched on drying cycle?

ive had the same problem, i took the top cover off and when i pressed the start button a blue flash came from the relay unit,( which is to the left of the start button) the dryer sometimes stayed on for up to about 5 mins then went off again - with a flash from the relay, i am going to try to replace the relay which seem to be in the £25 range and see what happens, if anyone has any other suggestions please add your reply, thanks...
