Hard Drive Recording?

I am having a problem recording onto the hard drive. I can copy VCR-DVD or DVD-VCR, but want to record to the hard drive. The instruction book is no help lol.

The Toshiba DVR19DTKB2 does not have a hard drive!!! I own two of these models and there is no hard drive. Sorry!
