It's an easy fix, you have just dislodged the switch from the pc board. Unplug the machine, open the top, unplug & undo the control box attached to the buttons, find the start button switch and check the solder joints. You will need to resolder it, you can buy a solder gun cheap $10-20 and a small amount of solder and go to work, job should take 10 minutes. you will need a phillips screw driver.
