How can I fix my Oster 6650 blender?

My Oster 6 cup, 10 speed, 6650 blender has a crack in the black plastic blender jar ring base that screws on the bottom of the blender jar. I took the still good blender blade & sealing ring/gasket out. The gasket is still attached to the blender blade. I am planning to order a new plastic jar ring base. When I do, how do I get the blade & sealing gasket to stick or attach to the blender jar ring base? Is there some type of glue that I would use that would be safe for food applications like a blender? Thank you!.
