I have a astra 1.6 8V petol 2003 which is in the garage at the moment thay
say it needs a new ecu.
We have just bought the car about 5 weeks ago which was playing up. it would
start when cold and then cut out and would,ent start at all for about 30
mins till it was cold again.do you think it could be repaired the ecu.

When i get the car back from the garage wardy.Can you come and read it for me I am only in Knottingley it is doing my head in.He keeps saying it the ECU but i asked them for the code and he said what code you on about.He ripping me off i think.so please please help me.

in only in normanton and i can code read it for you but im 85% certain its your temp sensor as this fault occurs on corsa which ive seen on forums.

sounds like it could be the temp sensor or the maff sensor, the garage are deffo trying to rip you off. is the engine management light on or been on ??? if so get it code read

See your previous posting, it's unlikely to be the ecu, the garage is trying to rip you off!!
