Mend Amana Error Fault Washer Help

Error / Fault Codes on an Amana Washer LW9203W2?

Help ..... How can I find out what the error code on my Amana Washer - Model LW9203W2 is - no one seems to know ... not even the Amana Customer Service Group (they are not trained technicals)

The code is either 6P or bP

Does anyone know the answer? I was told it was a pressure switch which I replace and my washer still does not work.

Desperate Housewife who does not to continue going to the laundry mat.

I had the same problem. The code seems to be the number 6 P.

I unplugged the wash machine for two hours and plugged it back in. Two dashes ( - - ) appeared on the display. I then pressed the stop key and the display cleared.

You will need to contact Maytag Customer Service to get any assistance as Maytag bought Amana sometime ago. They are open Monday - Friday. Goto WWW.AMANA.COM and select customer service then ORDER MANUALS.
