Mend Peugeot 307 Battery Start Dash

What does 'PLIP battery' mean when I start my peugeot 307?

When my 06peugeot 307 starts,there is a beep followed by a statement 'PLIP battery' on my dash display. Please can you explain what this means

There's not enough room on the display to have "your remote central locking control fob battery needs to be renewed". They just put "plip battery" and assume people will have the intelligence to RTFM*, which sadly few do.

RTFM = read the f manual.

It's self explanatory, you know that little thing that you hold in your hand that has buttons on it, which when you press it unlocks the car doors, well believe it or not, you are holding the item that needs the battery replacing, simples
