firebird super q 50 82?

my firebird was airlocked. i have sucked the fuel right upto the connection to the fuel fill area on the boiler. I realeased the screw just infront of this, and left it loose to suck out any more air. The fuel is not entering the filler at all. The filler container (not sure of name) has a small screw on the front, is this a bleed nipple. Should I close the bottom screw and loosen this small screw and attent to fire the boiler using the reset button.

Why should it be airlocked? are you talking about the pump on the left hand side of the burner. the SCREW flat head type is the pressure adjustment do not touch this without having a pressure guage to hand.
the Bolt head and yes it could look like a bleed nipple either way its the spanner one is where you can bleed the pump. loosen it a little bit and push the reset button oil will come out at pressure when this happens tighten it and boiler should fire it may take a few goes.
If you are unsure call some one Do not remove that bolt just loosen it. good luck
