Zanussi washing machine - funny (electrical / rubber?) smell?

Hi

When we last used our Zanussi Jetstream (ZWF16581) washing machine, we noticed (after the wash / drain cycle) there was a funny smell.

Looking inside, I couldn't see any obvious signs of burning, loose connections, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the possible culprit(s) please?

A quick reply would be appreciated.
