Mend Omega DW402XA Too Much Inlet Water Dishwasher

Too much inlet water on an Omega dw402xa dishwasher?

This is a brand new dishwasher & on its first go it has come up an error saying it is overfilled & there is too much inlet water - I have read elsewhere that this is caused by the inlet float being stuck - can we fix this ourselves & if so how?
