Overscanning on Panasonic Viera TV type TX-L26X10B?

I have a Humax digital recorder feeding into the AV1 input of a Panasonic Viera TV type TX-L26X10B, and the subtitles disappear off the bottom of the screen due to overscan. There seems to be no adjustment for this in the AV modes. Has anyone any ideas on this?
