Hey has anyone got any idea on 1 how to fully derestrict my gilera dna 125 an 2 how to increase the hp from 15hp to mayb 30hp or higher.. Plz let me no asap thanks.

i don't get what the front pulley washer is , i took mine appart and just took out the washer between pulleys , do i need to take the one thats after the nut ?

take out the 2 washers yes 2 washers out of the front pulley/ inbetween the 2 variator faces and cut off the little disruptor pipe and weld over the whole try to cut the pipe off level with the main pipe to achive maximum power and increase your main jet in your carb to a 60

my gilera dna has had new jets, new air filter a sports exhaust and had the washer took out of the variator and it still only tops out at 48. why? its really stressing me out

hello mate its either u need to play with your jetting or get a 70 kit and a new carb ;) btw the carb could also be blockd clean it out

You should also change the size of the main jet in the carb, piaggio recommend a 58 but Taffspeed recommend a 60. I had derestricted this way before further tuning, washer, exhaust resonance tube and changed mainjet to a 60 and it went great. Read taffspeed's guide for the DNA, great info, I used it as a basis for all my tuning.

you need to take a washer out between the two faces of the variator on the left hand engine case and also take the disruptor pipe off the exhaust pipe,this will require welding up after you have cut it off with a hacksaw make sure you get it level with the rest of the exhaust for maximum power,the washer will give the bike more top end speed and the exhaust modification will increase the engines power ok good luck any probs post another q for me :)
