Mend Indesit K344(G)G Light Worked Fine

Hi after cleaning my oven i cant get my oven to stay on?

After cleaning my K344(G)G indesit oven i tried to light it and the ignition worked fine but on releaseing the nob the cooker keeps going out (the grill works ok)
