I have got a 00 - 06 style transit (Crewcab Tipper) on an x plate, the van has been to the garage a fair few times because the van has got no power. The turbo etc has been tested and everything is as it should be. A mechanic who works at a ford dealership said that sometimes these vans have a flat engine, does anybody know if this can be the case or have any sugestions regarding this matter ? I was looking at the possibility of getting the van chipped up as it is only a 75ps at the moment but not sure if this is a good route to take.
hi, i have a 90 350 2002 transit,mine at 90 hp was quite sluggish especially when it had a bit of weight in it.i got it remapped and it is now a 120 hp,it is no faster pulling away but it is a lot better on the hills and higher up the rev range,hope this helps
