fitted new detergent dipenser complete new part, detergent door which is solenoid operated still not working.Is this a further fault with the control rotary knob unable to find any info on this so far and dont know how to proceed further, help please.
Thanks for the explanation in checking out the machine i was rotating the control dial but now aware i was not allowing time for the heater element to be triggered and then the latch on the detergent dispenser to be opened by the solenoid. Machine appeared to run normally last night. Fingers crossed it wasn't a fluke. Many thanks John.

Hi,
the dispenser is open only when the programme is about to heat, you should check you have live and nuetral to the solenoid, usually the nuetral is switched via the control pcb, trace the wiring and check for broken wires, poor edge connector fittings and dry joints
