My washing machine seems to have a fault in its unbalanced control system. When it was new if it became unbalanced it would stop and beep so it could be adjusted. Now it just keeps on going and it's likely to damage itself one day. How do I fix this?
Put your hand through the gap between the top of the bowl and the top deck of machine on the right hand rear corner. Feel around and there should be a plastic stick hanging down behind the tub. When out of balance the tub hits against that stick & trips a switch inside the panel. If stick is missing it may of been broken off at some stage and you will need to buy & instal a new one.
