how do i clean out airways on my miele novotronic t495c tumble dryer?

I was able to clean the filters with washing up liquid and the problem (red light to clean out airways) stayed off and the tumble dryer did its job.

Re last answer I presumed you know about and have cleaned out the door filter and if it is a condenser drier you have cleaned out the condenser box. Cheers

quite often this light is triggered by the 2 curved micro filters in the door way having hard white deposits on them difficult to remove the scale best to replace. To test this theory before buying parts remove the filters and run machine empty to see if it runs ok if so get new micro filters. You may have to set 'time dry' to get the machine to run because if it is on sensor dry with no clothes in it it will stop after a short while thinking the clothes are dry. Cheers
