how to replace the belt on a reebok 5.7e cross trainer?

I would lkike to know how to route the belt on the Reebok 5.7e cross trainer, there is a small middle pulley, does the belt loop over or under it and how do you get it to fit as the belt is so tight that it does not seem possible to stretch the belt around the main wheel, the flywheel and the small central pulley

I'll happily take a picture for you if you can explain how to open up the bike! I can't find any screws and I'm concerned that I'll break something if I just lever the side off.
