Mend Stannah 260 Stair Lift

Stannah stair lift?

I have a Stannah 260 stair lift which will not go up the stairs. It will come down the stairs ok and has had new batteries. It has all been oiled well but to no joy any advice would be very much apprietiated many thanx.
