Vaillant Ecotec plus 824 with no central heating?

Please help!!

We've been in this house for almost a year - so I'm not sure when the boiler was installed but I have all the instructions etc - it is a Vaillant ecotec plus 824, and it worked fine over last winter. It also worked fine once or twice last week when I switched it on manually. For some reason today it isn't triggering the heating at all, no matter which way I try and switch it on. I have completely reset the thermostat controls (drayton wireless rf3) - it's all set up correctly and the signal is being received by the unit under the boiler (nice green light), red flashes when signal being received then back to green. However the boiler displays S.30, which I believe is 'no heating demand from thermostat'? The hot water is working fine, and the test setting for the heating is ok too (pressing + & - together), in that the boiler and radiators come on. The only fault codes I found are F.22 which must be to do with installation so I have no clues! I've tried the timeswitch being on, timed, timed with all the tappets pushed in....aargh.

Anybody got any ideas? I would be really grateful for any help!

I have a ecotec plus 824 I have hot water but no heating recently it has been dripping water.
I live in a housing association property so there engineers come and sort the boiler out. the company they are using are rubbish.
my pressure is in the red up into the red it's also flashing between 64c and 50c I have tried switching it on and of we get the flame going on for about 1 minute and then stops.
I have been told that I am terminally ill and having no heating is not doing me any good. the engineer came out yesterday and said it was faulty but left with no explanation. this boiler is about 2 years old and I have had it go wrong now on 4 occasions.

Hi Lizzie. If pressing + - at the same time (chimney sweep mode) operates the boiler. and you have S30 coce in the display when you press the i (information button) the wireless stat , receiver is faulty. only chance of it not being faulty would be a wire disconnected from terminals 3 or 4, on the boiler main pcb. ( boiler comes from the factory with a red loop across 3,4 terminals. it is ok to refit this loop and disconnect the wireless stat setup. you are then working the boiler from the front dials only.

Test is power on PCB Terminal 3and4 where wire less receiver is connected test with test screw driver ,it power is on both than change water pressure switch
