Mend Breville BL10 Unlocked Lock Wrong

How can I sort my Breville blender? I have unlocked the jug base?

I have a Breville liquidiser/blender. I cannot lock the jug on to the base in order to use it. What am I doing wrong?
It is a serial noBL10
