how can I fix my kenmore microwave hood combination?

My Kenmore microwave #665.60652 is making a loud buzzing noise and is not heating? The light is coming on.

It sounds as if you have a shorted high voltage rectifier diode. Also the magnatron and possibly the high voltage capacitor has failed. I would not recommend you attempt this repair yourself because the capacitor can store dangerous high voltage even when the oven is unplugged.
