megane 1.5dci air bubbles in fuel lines,?

My megane 1.5dci is slightly lumpy for only a few seconds on start up, it then runs fine and picks up well, so i put a new set of glow plugs in only to find it exactly the same, i have noticed big air bubbles in the fuel line, could this be the cause of the lumpy startup, there are no fuel leeks that i can see at all, but i did recently fit a new fuel filter,to get rid of the air do i open the fuel filter bleed screw then pump the rubber bulb till i get rid of the air, is this the way to do it. Thanks in advance if you know the answer to my question.

I've got the same problem except mines slightly worse, some days the car will struggle to start and sometimes ill have to pump the accelerator to get it to start but rev for a few seconds before it cuts out again. cars also cut out on me whilst driving on motor ways. i had air in the line assumed it was normal as my mechanic told me so. doesn't let me go over 3000rpm with out loosing power and mentions a injector fault. I've pulled all pipes off the injectors during it running at warm temperature and they all seem to be the same none spitting excessively except ones spitting little compared to other 3. i changed the fuel filter and still have air bubbles, really giving up on the car now

also had codes shown

DF017
DF772 X 2
DF053 X 2

any ideas?

I would check your filter seals and the filter in general is fitted and secured properly, did you see air in the pipes before fitting filter?check all fuel pipes in and around the engine compartment which can rub a chaff due to engine movement and air can then enter your fuel system which diesels don`t like.On some models the hand primer is a source of drawing air, sorry don`t know on your model but I would try and Google your fault to see what common problems occur on it relating to your fuel system. You are on the right tracks relating to priming with the hand primer till you get a steady flow.Good luck.
