check that the master cylinder to pedal push rod has not pushed its way through pedal! common fault on this vehicle.

check for fluid/dampness at bottom of g/box bell housing,if there is any then suspect concentric release bearing.If the clutch pedal feels ok then suspect faulty clutch/dual mass flywheel,you can get solid flywheels for these now,available from motor factors.

put it into first when the car is OFF
Start with the clutch in
it should not move.
Try driving forward. - This will give some indication as to the workings of your clutch....
