How to connect a new gas hob?

My old hob was faulty and had to be returned but the new one has a different gas fitting and can not connect with the pipe fitting what can i do

You should be able to get the correct fitting at your local B&Q store or Wicks. Caution though - they MUST be fitted by a registered Corgi tradesman by law - check out your local yellow pages. The new fitting and pipe should cost about £22.
