call 706-935-0066 ask for John It takes a bit of know how but can be done within 15 minutes. the Jist of it is the handle is attached to a cable which runs through the recliner and attaches to the reliner-mechanism at the other end. to attach handle to cable there is a small metal barrel on top of cable that will insert to a hole on backside of handle. once the barrel is in hole the exposed metal wire of cable will run down the groove in the spine of back of handle. and now handle is ready to be put back in place on couch. now the bottom of the cable will need to be attached to the recliner mechanism. The Black Plastic Clip on bottom of cable will clip onto the recliner mechanism and then "dog-leg" or S-tip on bottom will be inserted into a small hole on the actuator of mechanism and install is done.
