hydromatic locked in gear?

I recently tried to take rear wheel off pollan pro .I wound up knocking axel of of housing slipped it back in side now u turn rightside the left goes opposite, no neutral position, im courious if I dropped clip from inside of trans ,and if I need to take unit out and repair it thanks
