Problem with volume on Panasonic TX-37LZD80 TV?

Volume on Panasonic TX-32LZD80 TV is stuck at quite a high level. Can't adjust volume using either Panasonic or Sky remote, nor using buttons on side of TV. Strangely though the Mute button on Panasonic remote works, but not on the Sky remote.

The first thing that I would suggest is to turn the TV off, (unplug it)then press and hold the power button on the television. This will usually take maybe ten seconds.Then plug it in and see if that works. if that doesn't then unplug your tv for 4 hours or do a hard reset (unplug overnite)
