whats wrong with dishwasher?

lamona slimline dishwasher is 3 yrs old, not overused - only on once a week. put it on to rince only but next day went to put on and all lights are not - not letting me move settings nor will it reset by holding down cancel button, have noticed water in drain section that never noticed before. please can you advise??
