Miele Novotronic T640?

To replace the heater on this one removes the stainless steel star bit screws from the round internal perforated panel. Can you advise how this panel then comes off, it seems to be still fixed?

hi I need a cover to for the vent at the back of the dryer where the fluff builds up. Where can I purchase this?

unfortunately it is attached to the drum you have to remove the drum, then you need a long allen key and rotate the heater housing till its 3 screws line up with the holes in the rear wall of the drum so you can undo the heater. check first the thermostat on the heater housing it may be that. This job is not for the faint hearted.
