Hi our washing machine which is 5years old will not spin it starts to fill then just stops, we've figured out the error code 5 Red flashes and 2 green which we interpreted as an E52, the question is, is it worth spending on to fix. we have the option of buying a second hand washing machine 2-3years old for £50.
check motor brushes after unplugging machine.Turn machine upside down for access to bolts 5.5mm. if they are less than 1 cm protrision from brass holder then new ones are under £10 . if this is not issue then its the magnet /speed controller
