You can use a beam over a fulcrum to lift the appliance - have most of the beam on the distant side of the fulcrum and stand on the beam. There will be a place where you just lift the fridge in the air and a smidgin closer where the fridge is heavier than you. Your weight in a simple equation will give you the approximate weight of the fridge. i.e Your weight x Your Distance to fulcrum = Fridge Weight x Fridge Distance to fulcrum.
