Washing machine stops mid cycle and beeps on PERM PRESS. It won't advance to spin and it won't drain. I drained the water manually and took apart the water pump and there is no obstruction. Any other suggestions?
You should post back in your original thread to keep all the info together so posters can see what has been tried. If you put machine on final spin & press start and drain pump doesn't run & you have no blockage as you say then either the pump is faulty or there is no power getting supplied to the pump from the main control board. To check for power supply or to check the pump you need a multimeter to test them. You haven't said what equipment you have or what fault finding knowledge you have. Suggest next step is call a service person.
