Prosound DVD player gives me a "no disc" sign even tough there is a disc in?

i do not know how to fix it. I bought two last year from walmart, and they have not worked right from the start. I tried to take them back and walmart said we don't carry them any more. i need to find a customer number to call for help, do you have one?
