How can I mend my Flymo turbolite 250?

Flymo Turbolite 250
mower new this year BUT I accidentally pushed it over a rubber ball, which it shredded, then OK for a couple of seconds , then stopped. No smell of burning, so I assume the motor is OK. I left for a while & it restarted ...but stopped after only a few seconds. Please can you help?
